The roles of the Mechanical Engineering Group and Design Office are to ensure that flight instruments are designed and built to survive the demanding requirements placed upon them during launch and operation in Space. We employ a flexible, integrated design process to develop projects through all stages from concept to delivery, working closely with teams from other technical disciplines to reach a cohesive design solution.
