5th British Gravity Meeting
(BritGrav 5). The meeting will be held at St
Catherine's College Oxford during 20-23 September.
It will bring together, in an informal setting, the active
gravitational research community in the UK and beyond and will
provide a forum for the exchange of ideas. Current research
students and postdoctoral researchers from UK universities are
particularly encouraged to participate in the meeting.
The topic of the meeting is General Relativity and Gravity
including mathematical cosmology and gravitational physics
covering classical, quantum and experimental aspects. Participants
are invited to give a short talk on some recent work. In addition,
there will be pedagogic lectures by international leaders in the
field.
Sponsored by Classical and Quantum Gravity , a "Best Student Talk Prize" will
be presented, at the end of the meeting, to a research student whose talk is
selected to be the best.
